Free zombie game
Zombie Rush is a free survival experience for Roblox created by Beacon Studio. At first glance, Zombie Rush looks like any other zombie-killing game on Roblox. However, the more you play, the more features, mechanics, and items you’ll discover that set this game apart from its contemporaries. The game was created in 2013 but still receives regular updates, the most recent of which took place mere weeks prior to the writing of this article.

Zombies
This is by far the most important aspect of the game, for, without zombies, there would be no Zombie Rush. The point of the game is to survive as many rounds as possible. This is more difficult than you’d think as the zombies come at you in waves. The AI that powers the zombies lets them instantly track you down, so hiding in a corner isn’t really an option.
You’ll notice that there are numerous types of zombies - not just the standard green-skinned monsters that you’re used to seeing in popular culture reference material. Each type of zombie has a different strength, and thus not all of them can be killed as easily as the rest. This gives the game a slight increase in difficulty, depending on what weapons you have at hand.
Weapons
Another thing that the game has in spades is weaponry. You’ll pretty much be able to equip any type of weapon you could want, although you may be expected to pay a hefty price for them. Some weapons are free or at least affordable to the average player, but others, like the infamous Ban Hammer, can cost you in the range of 10,000 Robux.
Game modes
Zombie Rush has two main game modes, single-player and multiplayer. During the single-player mode, you’ll need to survive waves of zombies in order to progress within the game. You’ll be able to purchase weapons and thus defend yourself and attack zombies, but the zombies typically move in groups, which makes the game a little more difficult.
In the multiplayer game mode, you’ll have to do exactly the same, but you’ll have help. Multiplayer is essentially a frenzy of zombies and players trying to get kills.
Good game, unless you’re a zombie
If you like killing zombies and running around like a headless chicken, this is the game for you. If you like being a zombie, you’ll also enjoy this game as you can choose to play as either a human or the walking dead.
However, playing as a human is definitely easier. You’ll need to master surviving if you want to outlast the others.
